Congress Women Donna Edward’s STEM Event in Washington DC – Students were informed and inspired to aspire and achieve academically, pursue successful career and life paths. In addition, students were engaged in discussions on core concepts and language/vocabulary related to the role of government, and to the issues being spotlighted – STEM and STEAM Education.

IEEE Robotic Competition – Students designed and developed a robot to compete in a challenge concourse. 4th Place overall and 2nd Place for Report.

BEYA (Black Engineer of the Year) Conference – High school students are encouraged to take part in the BEYA Pre-College program where students tested their skills, experienced STEM learning activities, and expressed themselves.
