Destination Imagination at TJMS Wins First Place at Regional Tournament
The Thomas Johnson Middle School Destination Team won first place for the Engineering Challenge "In It Together" at the regional tournament held on Saturday, March 4. As a result, the team advances to compete at the State Tournament on April 1, 2017.
For this year’s Engineering Challenge, In It Together, teams will design, build and test multiple freestanding structures that work together to support as much weight as possible. Teams will also develop and present a story in which characters from two nations work together to solve a global issue.
